KITTIE, FLAW, SKINLAB And MY RUIN US Tour: More Details Revealed

March 9, 2002

The upcoming F.ck Yer Label tour, featuring KITTIE, FLAW, SKINLAB and MY RUIN (in that order),is tentatively due to kick off on April 5th or April 6th in Buffalo, New York and will likely last four weeks. Although currently unconfirmed, DEADSY were reportedly offered the second slot on the package and may be officially added to the bill in the coming days. Prior to the start of the above-mentioned trek, KITTIE and SKINLAB will team up for a three-show Canadian mini-tour that is tentatively due to kick off on April 2nd. Exact dates and venues will be announced shortly.

In related news, MY RUIN frontwoman Tairrie B recently commented on the tour's moniker (which only applies to MY RUIN and not the other acts, apparently) by stating that “Spitfire Records licensed both of MY RUIN's previous efforts in the US from ex-label Snapper Music in the UK, without either knowledge or consent of the band, and did nothing whatsoever in the way of support or promotion. That rendered us unable to tour in the US at a time when we should have been everywhere. It was our personal name for this outing, in no way a reflection on the feelings of the other bands, and not meant to be shared with the group.”
